The Slower Lower podcast was launched in the spring of 2025 to celebrate the people, places, and culture of the Delmarva Peninsula, with an emphasis on Slower Lower Delaware. Hosts Chris Slavens and Crystal Lee chat about local customs and events, favorite restaurants and attractions, and small businesses and community groups. Past guests include award-winning photographer Russell A. Taylor III, up-and-coming country artist Shane Beard, expert waterfowl taxidermist Billy Hardesty, Delmar town commissioner Corey Shaffer, Delaware Whitetail Open organizer Kyle Brown, and retiring Laurel Redevelopment Corporation executive director Brian Shannon.
