Bald Cypress Books is celebrating Black History Month with the release of a new edition of Scenes in the Life of Harriet Tubman. Originally published in 1869, Sarah H. Bradford's classic biography of Tubman follows her incredible story from her birth into slavery in Dorchester County, Maryland, through her daring role in the Underground Railroad and her selfless service in the Army during the Civil War.
The book is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble currently, and is expected to be carried by other major retailers.
Another early African-American biography, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, will be released on Friday, February 19th.
